Nopadol Sang-ngurn is currently a member of the Aircraft Accident Investigation Committee, Thailand. He was the Course Director for Air Traffic Control at the Chiang Rai Rajabhat University (Thailand) between 2016-2019. He worked as the advisor on Safety and Standards at the Aeronautical Radio of Thailand (AEROTHAI) prior to taking up employment at the university.
Nopadol Sang-ngurn had been employed with AEROTHAI, a state enterprise that provides Air Traffic Control, aeronautical telecommunication and navigation services in Thailand for more than 35 years. In his position as Executive Expert, he was responsible for overseeing all AEROTHAI CNS/ATM activities. He also served as the Chairman of the Safety and Airspace Monitoring sub-group of the ICAO RVSM Task Force of the Asia and Pacific region between 2005-2007. He was the Project Manager for the BOBCAT ATFM tool that has been in use since 2007 for managing traffic from Southeast Asia across Kabul FIR.
Nopadol Sang-ngurn was the ATS Expert at the Department of Civil Aviation (Thailand) (2008 to 2013) where he was responsible for overseeing the review and audit of ATC procedures.
